another entry to the genficathon!

This time the prompts were Humor and "Without a Paddle"... thus my terribly inventive title.  It might be more of a "Friendship" story than a Humor.  It's hard to write 'humor'.  I don't think I can set up to write anything that is genuinely humorous.  I just try to keep things a little light, that's all.

The Bone Pit - on Fanfiction.net  and at the genficathon, where it was originally called "Hope and a Hole in the Ground", A title that I came to dislike intensely, so I changed it.

The prompts were Action/Adventure and Catacombs.   The team ends up trapped on a planet, and have to make their escape through the catacombs.  There are bones and scary insect things that want to bite them.  Some of the team gets hurt.  I know you'd like that.

Okay, another meme, just out of boredom.  Where do your SGA stories take place?  What kind of planet?  Certainly every planet in the Pegasus Galaxy isn't dominated by huge forests of Douglas Firs?  So, I thought I'd look at that little aspect next.

I have completed my most recent fic!  It's called "Where the Buffalo Roam".  You can find it at fanfiction.net or at my website.

The team is on another planet, investigating the existance of an Ancient Outpost.  All manner of bad thing happens. Everyone gets hurt.  It's nonstop mayhem!  oh, and bad jokes.

What does this tell me?  I like starting a story with them walking through the Stargate.  A lot of my first lines are setting the scene, and I do miss M7 stories -- same as sablecain. 

More news.  I have a new kitty!  Isn't she cute!  Her name is Luna.  I just hope my other kitty accepts her... eventually

Yeah, I know, it's been ages and ages since I posted anything here.  So, just a quick note to say that the Shrine was Awesome.  Loved it.  I wish that the Emmys didn't always totally ignore Sci Fi, because DH's performance was incredible
